On 12 August 2021, near Loi He village between Pekon and Pinlaung townships (coded as Pekon) (Taunggyi district, Shan-South state), the Pekon PDF destroyed using explosive devices two electrical towers and power lines specifically connected to Nay Pyi Taw and used by the SAC.
