On 25 July 2026, near Thit Khauk Taung village (Salin township, Minbu district, Magway region), the combined troops of the Peacock Brothers People's Defense Force, the People's Defense Force - Minbu District Battalion - 5 and the Salin Local People's Defense Force attacked around 15 Myanmar military soldiers who advanced from Kan Pyar village to Thit Khauk Taung military outpost to rotate duty with four cluster mines. 5 military soldiers were killed and two were severely injured. 5 fatalities.
