29th July 2026
On 29 July 2026, time of day unclear, U.S. forces launched a missile attack targeting an uninhabited area near Piranshahr (Piranshahr, West Azerbaijan) close to the Iraqi border (coded as an air/drone strike by default). The recent U.S. strikes are presumably carried out in retaliation for the recent Iranian military attacks against commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz. No casualties.
