On 25 July 2026, in the evening, JNIM claimed to have targeted a Malian army and Africa Corps convoy with an IED, near the village of Ouami (Hombori, Douentza, Mopti). In a separate statement, JNIM announced that it targeted two trucks and motorcycles from a Malian army and Africa Corps convoy with a series of IEDs on the road between Hombori and Gossi (likely referring to the IED attacks reported near the village of Ouami, and east of Hombori which was coded separately), causing human casualties and material losses. JNIM released photographs of the destroyed equipment, including a dump truck and a fuel tanker. Unspecified fatalities coded as 3.
