On Saturday, August 1, 2026, continuing operations conducted in the Sandaré sector, FAMa air assets carried out several precision strikes in the Kouakourou and Tessalit sectors. In Kouakourou, a major terrorist base was completely destroyed and its occupants neutralized. Initial assessments indicate no survivors. In Tessalit, a large group of individuals, among whom were likely terrorist leaders, as well as a weapons depot, were detected and destroyed. Surveillance continues in the area.

On Sunday, August 2, 2026, a site housing armed terrorist groups and also containing mining equipment was destroyed, and the elements present were neutralized. On the same day, air assets conducted several precision strikes against targets of military interest in the Kidal area. Operations are continuing to assess their impact.
