Yangon, July 28

The terrorist army bombed villages in the southern part of Wetlet Township and the northern part of Sagaing Township in Sagaing Region at least four times this morning, killing two local residents, injuring three others, and burning down nearly 20 public houses, according to the Wetlet Informational Network.

On the morning of July 28, a fighter jet from the Tada U Air Force bombed Paukkan Buta Village in Wetlet Township twice at 10:31 a.m. and 10:33 a.m., and Samun Village in Sagaing Township twice at 10:39 a.m. and 10:40 a.m., a total of four times. During the airstrikes, U Myint Than (60 years old) from Shwe Pyi Village and Ma Myint Maw (40 years old) from Samun Village, who were fleeing the war in Pauk Kan Bhuta Village, were killed, and about 3 local residents were injured.

In addition, the Wetlet Informational Network said that nearly 20 public houses were burned down due to airstrikes. "There were no ground troops in the villages where the military carried out airstrikes. There was no fighting going on, and the airstrikes were carried out without any casualties. We would like to ask the public to be especially aware of the dangers of airstrikes," said an official from the Wetlet Informational Network. Similarly, on July 26, the military airstrikes targeted a school in Talai Kyun Village, Sagaing Township, killing U Daung Lin (45 years old) and Daw San Lwin (44 years old) on the spot, and destroying four school buildings and three homes, according to local residents.
