In Odesa, a man opened fire on CCC servicemen during mobilization activities, four servicemen were injured, and the shooter was detained.

Details : As eyewitnesses told Duma, the incident occurred on Kosmonavtiv Street.

An unknown person opened fire on CCC employees during mobilization activities.

According to preliminary data, four people were injured in the shooting. One of them was hospitalized with a serious back injury. Later, three more employees sought medical help on their own.

Updated : The police have released a statement regarding the incident.

A report of shooting in one of the districts of Odesa was received at around 7:30 p.m.

Police verbatim : "It has been previously established that while employees of the district CCC and SP were conducting activities to alert the population, an unknown person fired several shots from a pistol in their direction.

As a result of the incident, four employees of the RTCC and the Joint Venture were injured, they are being provided with the necessary medical assistance."

Details : The police noted that law enforcement officers are conducting primary investigative actions, establishing all the circumstances of the incident, and taking measures to establish the whereabouts and detention of the shooter.

The legal qualification of the event will be given after all the circumstances have been clarified.

The Odesa Regional CCC and SP confirmed an armed attack on servicemen while they were performing their official duties.

Later, the police reported the detention of a 32-year-old man who had shot at RTCC and SP employees, previously with a pistol chambered for Flaubert.

Based on this fact, police investigators entered information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Part 2 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which qualifies as obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations.

The weapon will be sent for expert examination. The offender was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
