A police vehicle was intercepted and attacked on the Natmauk-Myothit road, killing one police officer and seizing weapons and ammunition.

An official from Battalion No. 902 told Yangon Times that a police vehicle driving from Natmauk to Myothit was intercepted by revolutionary forces while conducting a random check on the Natmauk-Myothit road in Magway Division. One police officer was killed and some weapons and ammunition and equipment were seized.

At approximately 3:45 p.m. on July 27, while the revolutionary forces were conducting a random check on the Natmauk-Myothit road, a suspicious white Mark II vehicle driving from Natmauk to Myothit failed to stop and fled, prompting a pursuit and shooting. During the attack, one cadet and one sergeant were injured and fled, while the cadet died on the way to the hospital. "There were police officers and a dog in the car. The officer, who had completed his training as a deputy police officer, died at the hospital," said an official from Battalion No. 902. Following the attack, a Mark II vehicle, a mobile phone, 74 rounds of G-3 rifle ammunition, a handgun, a bulletproof helmet and two other helmets were reportedly seized. The operation was carried out by soldiers from Battalion No. (902), and the revolutionary comrades were able to withdraw safely without any injuries, the Battalion No. (902) announced.
