The military aircraft bombed a school in Talai Kyun village in Sagaing Township, killing two people. Airstrikes also targeted Wetlet Township.

Locals told Yangon Times that two people were killed when a terrorist army plane bombed a school in Talai Kyun village in Sagaing Township, Sagaing Region.

At around 12:00 a.m. on July 27, the military carried out an airstrike on a school in Talai Kyun Village, Sagaing Township, using fighter jets from the Tada U Air Force while the people were sleeping. The airstrike killed two people, U Daung Lin, 45, and Daw San Lwin, 44, and a cow.

Four school buildings and three homes of local residents in the village were also damaged by the bomb. "Everyone was asleep, so why would they notice? The airstrike happened while we were sound asleep, so we didn't even have time to run," said a local resident.

Similarly, on the morning of July 27, an official from the Wetlet Informational Network told the Yangon Times that two J-Fighter (JF-17) fighter jets from the Military Council’s Tada U Air Force carried out an airstrike near the Mangye Kone forest area west of Kugyi village in the eastern part of Wetlet Township.

Two airstrikes were carried out in a row today, one at 10:22 a.m. and the other at 10:29 a.m., and the details of the damage are still being investigated. "As far as we know, there were no injuries. We are investigating further to find out more details," said an official from the Wetlet Informational Network.
