SBU hit Russia's Taman port and aircraft plant in Crimea.

Ukraine's Security Service, in coordination with the country's Defense Forces, struck infrastructure at Russia's Taman seaport in Krasnodar Krai and an aircraft plant in Russian-occupied Yevpatoria in Crimea, the agency said on July 31.

According to the SBU, the strike triggered a large fire in Taman.

In Yevpatoria, two aircraft storage hangars and a production facility at the Yevpatoria Aviation Plant were hit, the agency said.

The Security Service also confirmed a strike on one of Russia's largest oil refineries, Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka. According to the General Staff, the refinery has an annual processing capacity of about 15 million metric tons of crude oil.

Explosions were reported overnight on July 31 in the Russian city of Volgograd. Drones targeted a Wildberries logistics center and an oil refinery, with reports of large fires.

A strike on the Port of Taman was first reported on July 30. Monitoring groups said a fire broke out at the port, which the Telegram channel Exilenova+ described as one of southern Russia's key logistics hubs supporting Russian forces in Crimea.

The SBU has previously targeted infrastructure in Taman. In June 2026, it struck the Tamanneftegaz oil and gas terminal in Russia's Krasnodar Krai.
