On 16 July 2026, UPDF forces shelled SSPDF positions in Pure and Gorbeleng areas, Andejo, Liwolo Payam (Kajo Keji, Central Equatoria). The shelling followed clashes between the 2 groups in the same area on 14 July 2026 (coded separately), and the UPDF forces remained deployed in Kariwa, along the South Sudan-Uganda border. There were no casualties.
