On 14 July 2026, in Shar Taw Par Laung village (coded as Par Laung) (Loikaw township, Loikaw district, Kayah state), the Myanmar military launched airstrikes and dropped six bombs on an IDP camp using a fighter jet at around 5 pm. A 50-year-old IDP was killed, and four houses and a car were damaged. 1 fatality.
