Grenade event in Myanmar on Sat 18th July 2026

On 18 July 2026, in Yesagyo township (Pakokku district, Magway region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes on an outpost of the Yesagyo Revolution Group (YRG) with an Mi-35 jet from the Shan Te airbase at around 3:30 pm. 2 cars, 2 motorcycles, 6 small weapons, a computer, 20 hand grenades and 5000 rounds of bullets were destroyed. There were no casualties. On the same day, the Myanmar military also conducted airstrikes on the Aung Maung outpost of the Southern Yesagyo People's Defense Force with 4 jet fighters and a Mi-35 jet at around 3:30 pm. The outpost and some equipment were destroyed. A school building, where the IDPs were staying, was destroyed. There were no casualties.
