On 19 July 2026, an IED planted by an unidentified assailant (likely a BIFF militant due to the context) exploded near a parked military armored truck in Barangay Linantangan (Shariff Saydona Mustapha, Maguindanao del Sur, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao). There were no casualties. No major damage was done to the truck.
