On 18 July 2026, an unidentified object exploded during a patrol of the Lebanese Army in El Mansouri town (Tyr, South), killing one soldier and injuring one officer and another soldier. The IDF claimed that the explosive device was planted by Hezbollah, and it was not an IDF device. The Israeli military also stated that the LAF had entered the security zone, in El Mansouri, without prior coordination with the IDF as required
