Around 5 August 2021 (as reported), Turkish army forces attacked a group of electricity workers, using heavy machine guns and artillery strikes in a rural area in Kani Masi sub-district of Duhok. The group was reportedly in the area to repair the power lines that were damaged due to the clashes between Turkish forces and PKK. No casualties occurred.
