On 19 July 2026, for the second consecutive day, Iranian forces (coded IRGC by default) fired ballistic missiles and drones targeting a power and water desalination plant in Shuaiba (Al Ahmadi), prompting the breakout of a fire in the plant and another fire. There were no casualties. Kuwait's Electricity Ministry stated that power generation units were damaged and asked citizens and residents to try to conserve electricity.
