Missile event in Kuwait on Sat 18th July 2026

On 18 July 2026, night, morning and afternoon, Iranian forces (coded IRGC by default) fired three waves of ballistic missiles and drones targeting the oil, electricity, and water sectors in Kuwait, including two petroleum refinery facilities belonging to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation in Al Ahmadi governorate (coded to Al Ahmadi), prompting the breakout of a fire at an unspecified location and another fire at a water and desalination the plant, which led to the injury of an unspecified number of firefighters and at least 1 oil sector worker. The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation confirmed substantial material damages to 1 of its 'vital facilities'.
