On 6 August 2021, in Mee Ton village (Mansi township, Bhamo district, Kachin state) (coded as Mansi), a 16-year-old boy stepped on a landmine planted by the military and was injured from the explosion. The village was between two military bases, LIB 319 and LIB 601. The boy died at the Bhamo hospital.
