On 14 July 2026, in Ramree township (Kyaukpyu district, Rakhine state), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped four bombs at the Min Kyaung creek bridge that connects the Kyaukpyu-Ramree-Toungup road with two gyrocopters that came from the navy ship anchored in the Than Zit river around 3:45 pm. The bridge was damaged. Casualties unknown.
