On 17 July 2026, night, IRGC forces claimed to have targeted via unspecified means (coded as drone strikes based on previous activity) the US maritime surveillance radar at As Salamah Archipelago (Khasab, Musandam) and the US air surveillance radar stationed in the Ghanam (Jazirat Umm al Ghanam). The IRGC claimed the attacks hit and destroyed their targets, but no other sources corroborated this claim. Casualties unknown.
