On 17 July 2026, night, IRGC forces claimed to have targeted via unspecified means (coded as drone strikes based on previous activity) the maritime surveillance radar at As Salamah Archipelago and the US air surveillance radar stationed in the Ghanam (Jazirat Umm al Ghanam) (Khasab, Musandam). US forces likely intercepted the projectiles. No independent sources corroborated the claim. The IRGC claimed the attacks hit and destroyed their targets. Casualties unknown.
