On 12 July 2026, around 2:40 am Muscat time, suspected Iranian forces (coded as IRGC by default) launched drone strikes on several unidentified sites in Musandam Governorate (coded to governorate center Khasab) (Khasab), including one that directly impacted container ship GFS Galaxy off the governorate's coast (coded separately). No damages to other sites in the Governorate were reported. There were no casualties.
