Missile event in Kuwait on Wed 15th July 2026

On 15 July 2026, IRGC forces launched drones and missiles targeting the US military's logistics and support center near the Mina Adallah Oil Refinery (Al Ahmadi). The IRGC claimed that the attack destroyed the facility, but this was not corroborated by other sources. They also claimed to attack and destroy a Patriot air defense system, HIMARS missile launchers, a satellite communications center, and an air and missile defense radar, in retaliation for US attacks on the country. The Kuwaiti army said that its forces intercepted a total of 21 drones and 4 cruise missiles from Iran that day, but falling debris caused material damage in an unspecified location (coded to this location). There were no casualties.
