On 13 July 2026, an IED belonging to unidentified assailants exploded when an Assam Rifles convoy was passing through the Shokhuvi village area (Dimapur, Nagaland). An Assam Rifles personnel driving the truck succumbed to his injuries and 5 others including a civilian were injured. Preliminary assessment indicated that the IED was planted in an autorickshaw parked on the roadside. Total 1 fatality.
