In Wroclaw, Poland, on July 26, unknown persons attacked two Ukrainians — a boy and a girl, probably because of their Ukrainian accent. The mother of the victim reported this on Facebook. The woman said that the girl received serious neck injuries, as a result of which doctors put stitches on her. In addition, both are suspected of having concussions.

The deputy commissioner from the Main Directorate of the Municipal Police explained that several unknown men ran up to the girl and the boy and within a few seconds began to beat them, and then disappeared from the scene. The deputy commissioner added that the incident “was racially motivated.” The

Consulate General of Ukraine in Wroclaw responded to the incident and called on Polish law enforcement officers to promptly investigate the attack on Ukrainian citizens.
