The Romanian Air Force has shot down a drone for the second time in recent times that violated the country's airspace.

As reported by "European Truth", Romanian President Nikusor Dan wrote about this in his X.

According to him, on July 25, at around 08:30 local time, another enemy drone was shot down 10 km west of the city of Sfintu Gheorghe.

"A drone shot down a Romanian pilot aboard an F-16 fighter jet," Dan added.

As a reminder, on July 24, the Romanian military shot down a drone that flew deep into the country for the first time with a fighter jet.

Top Romanian military officials reported that the downed drone was visually identified as a Shahed-type aircraft .
