Romanian President Nicos Dan announced that the Romanian Air Force had shot down a drone over the country's territory again - the third such incident in the last three days.

Direct speech : "This morning, at 10:13, an F-16 aircraft of the Romanian Air Force shot down a new drone over Romanian territorial waters in the Sulina–Ciliea area," the Romanian President reported.
Details : He thanked the Romanian pilots and ground crews for the professionalism, courage and efficiency with which they carry out their tasks.
He also recalled that according to the investigation conducted by the Prosecutor General's Office, the drone shot down on Friday morning belongs to the "Shahed" type , which is used by the Russian Federation in the war against Ukraine.
The investigation into the drones shot down on Saturday and Sunday is ongoing.
"Romania's diplomatic protest against the Russian Federation will be based on the results of these investigations," said Nikusor Dan.
"It is unacceptable and intolerable that the Russian Federation continues to violate Romanian airspace, which is also NATO and European Union airspace. Such actions are unacceptable, and we take them seriously, together with our allies," he stressed.
