Three militants of an undisclosed banned outfit were arrested by Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Dharampura area of Lahore, the provincial capital of Punjab, on August 28, reports The Nation. As per the CTD spokesperson, the apprehended militants were identified as Rizwan, Abdul Qayyum and Muhammad Arif. It has been further revealed by the CTD spokesperson that the militants were planning to attack security agencies. IEDs, two hand grenades, a pistol and other explosive material have been recovered from the possession of the militants.|
