In Miku Sa village, Kainlanphu Township, in the northern part of Kachin State, a suicide drone belonging to the military junta and allied ethnic militia struck and exploded on the evening of 14th July, killing an entire family, including a young child. causing casualties, including a child, in the village of Mikusa in Kauklanphu Township, northern Kachin State. According to local residents, the deaths were caused by suicide drones from the military junta and its allied People's Militia, which were deliberately dropped on the village.

‘The deaths of family members, including a young child, were caused by the junta and their proxy militia deliberately bombing the village with suicide drones,’ said a local man.

The fighting between the KIA-KPDF joint forces and the military, The fighting between the People's Militia and the joint forces is taking place around Border Marker 30, and the village of Mikusa, where the suicide drone was dropped, is more than 14 miles from the site of the conflict.

"The militia are oppressing the Lisu people on the allegation that they brought in KIA forces to the Kaunphu area. ‘This deliberate drone strike is a dangerous act that will create unnecessary tension between the Lisu and Rawan people,’ said another local man.

They say that as the military is unable to win the war, it is carrying out acts of burning villages and massacring the public, and could resort to ethnic cleansing, so local residents should be wary of the junta's modus operandi.

On 13 July, the KIA and PDF joint forces captured three frontline camps belonging to the military and the People's Militia, located within Kauklan Township on the China-Myanmar border.

In the offensive launched by the KIA and PDF joint forces on 10 July, the military and allied forces retreated towards Kauklanpho town.
