Shooting in Hakha leaves RTAF battalion commander and a police officer dead

Chin, 18 July

Revolutionary fighters have shot dead a police battalion commander and two police officers in Hakha town, Chin State, a military source told Red Peacock news media.

Three CDF fighters ambushed the RTAF (14) battalion commander, Deputy Superintendent Zaw Zaw Aung, and two police conscripts as they were entering Haksha town.

The battalion commander and one police officer were killed at the scene.

Hpa-K is a town controlled by the brutal military junta.
