Zoland attacked by PDF; militants and Zomi forces killed

Chin, 23 July

Yesterday, PDF Zoland announced that up to six people were killed in an attack on the coup-installed military, who were conducting a military operation between Tiddim town and Kennedy Hill in Chin State.

According to the PDF Zoland statement, the junta's military advanced between Tiddim town and Kanedi Hill on 21 July.

PDF Zoland reported that three members of the Zomi Revolutionary Army were among the six people killed in the attack.

The Zomi Revolutionary Army has also stated that three of its members were killed.

According to a local resident, the Zomi Revolutionary Army has long been collaborating with the terrorist military, acting as a border guard force.

Yesterday, PDF Zoland stated that it had publicly announced the attack was solely a battle between the terrorist military force and PDF Zoland.

The terrorist military force is in control of Tiddim town.
