Plantation owners are spared the risk of losing their lives and can safely utilize their land to build a livelihood for their families and contribute to society!!
Yesterday, July 13, 2026, CMAC forces cleared two stacked anti-tank mines—remnants of war dating back to before 1998—in Veal Vong Village, Ta Sda Commune, Sampov Loun District, Battambang Province. This operation involved information gathering and searching along the lines of anti-tank mines deployed during the war.
This farmland has been actively cultivated—with regular plowing—from 1996 right up to the present day. It is truly a "one-in-a-million" stroke of luck; had a tractor or vehicle driven over it and triggered an explosion, the machinery would have been destroyed and anyone involved would almost certainly have been killed.
