Drones strike one of Russia's key oil transportation hubs in Urals.

On the morning of July 23, drones struck the “Subhankulovo” oil pipeline facility in Bashkortostan, which is a key component of the Transneft system in the Urals.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the ASTRA Telegram channel.

On the morning of July 23, residents of Bashkortostan reported explosions and a fire.

ASTRA analysed eyewitness footage and concluded that the “Subhankulovo” Linear Production and Dispatch Station (LPDS) had been attacked.

This is one of the facilities in the main oil pipeline system of JSC “Transneft–Ural,” located in the Tuimazinsky District of the Republic of Bashkortostan, near the village of Subhankulovo.

The LPDS is designed to receive and pump oil through the main oil pipeline system; to dispatch and manage oil transportation; to store oil in a tank farm; and to support operational processes related to oil transportation.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of July 23, a group of drones attacked an oil refinery in the Ulyanovsk region of the Russian Federation.
