SAA event in Lebanon on Fri 17th July 2026

Army units carried out extensive security measures across various Lebanese regions, including raids and the establishment of temporary checkpoints, as part of efforts to pursue those disrupting security and combat drug trafficking. As a result, eight Lebanese citizens and two Syrians were arrested, as follows. Raids on the homes of wanted individuals in the area of Choueifat resulted in the arrest of Lebanese citizens (Kh.A.) and (Kh.D.) for forming a robbery gang, Lebanese citizen (A.Sh.) for kidnapping, and Lebanese citizen (M.Z.) for firing weapons. Weapons, ammunition, and military equipment were seized from them.
