Two National Police explosives technicians died in Kharkiv region during demining.

Maksym Movchan and Anatoliy Radkovsky died on July 20 in the Kharkiv region while demining a de-occupied territory. Both had over 20 years of service and state awards.

On Monday, July 20, bomb disposal experts of the National Police of Ukraine, Maksym Movchan and Anatolii Radkovskyi, were killed in the Kharkiv region. They were engaged in demining the de-occupied territory of the region, reports UNN citing the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.

Details

At the time of their death, Movchan was 39 years old, Radkovskyi was 41. Movchan held the position of Deputy Head of the Department - Head of the Directorate for the Use of Special Explosive Ordnance Disposal Equipment and Robotic Systems, and Radkovskyi held the position of Chief Specialist of the Department for the Use of Robotic Systems of the same directorate.

Maksym Movchan and Anatolii Radkovskyi dedicated over 20 years to service in the internal affairs bodies and the National Police of Ukraine. From the first days of russia's full-scale invasion, they worked side by side, carrying out extremely complex and dangerous tasks of demining the de-occupied territories of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kherson and other regions of Ukraine

- the police stated.

Movchan was a native of Vinnytsia, and Radkovskyi was born in Horlivka, Donetsk region. Both were awarded departmental and state honors. Thus, Movchan was awarded the distinction of the President of Ukraine "For the Defense of Ukraine", as well as departmental distinctions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the National Police.
