Two Policemen, identified as Abdul Majeed and Javed Ahmad, and one civilian, identified as Fayaz Ahmad, received minor injuries after militants lobbed a grenade on a joint party of Police and CRPF at a naka in Saraf Kadal area of Srinagar District of J&K on August 19, reports Greater Kashmir. They were shifted to hospital where their condition was said to be stable. A search operation is launched in the area after the grenade attack.
