Army drone bombing of Mikusa village in Kachin State kills entire families, including children; military also continues airstrikes in Myaing Township

A Kachin military source said that in Kachin State's Kaukmau Township, the military attacked the village of Mikusa with drones, killing entire families, including children, and destroying homes.

On the evening of 14 July, the military and the People's Militia attacked Miku Sa village in Kaunlanpu Township with drones, killing at least three people, including children, and destroying homes within the village, Residential homes were also reported to have been destroyed.

"The fighting in Khainglanphu is taking place in one location. The village of Mikusa, which the military attacked with drones and bombs, is quite some distance from where the fighting is happening. The military is deliberately bombing civilian areas." a Kachin military source said.

In recent days, fighting has erupted between KIA joint forces and the military in the Khainglanphu area, with the KIA joint forces capturing at least three military camps.
