Air Delivered event in Sagaing Region, Ayadaw area, Myanmar on Tue 14th July 2026

Three people, including a pregnant mother, were killed in an airstrike carried out by the military council in Ayadaw Township, Sagaing Region, a local man told Shwe Phi Myay.

Yesterday, July 14, at around 4:00 PM, a tea shop in Kanyin Village, Ayadaw Township, was bombed.

"There was no fighting happening in that village. They came and dropped about three bombs near the tea shop and its surroundings. The bombs were dropped just minutes apart. Because we thought the baby inside the pregnant mother's womb might still be alive, we tried to deliver it. But by the time the baby was delivered, it was already dead."

The airstrike by the military council killed two women, including the pregnant mother, and one child, while a man was injured, according to the local resident.
