A man has died after being found stabbed in an apartment in Sköndal, south of Stockholm. Police are investigating a suspected murder.
The alarm was received at 00:40 on Wednesday night.
"When we got there, the man was found seriously injured. Life-saving measures were carried out before he was taken to hospital by ambulance," police spokesman Per Fahlström told TT.
On Wednesday evening, police announced that the man had died from his injuries. Next of kin have been notified.
Man arrested
The apartment was cordoned off after the incident and during the night an operation was underway in the area where, among other things, interrogations were held.
During the night, the police were able to arrest a man aged 45-50 on suspicion of the crime. He is currently in custody and the crime is classified as murder.
