Fifteen civilians were killed Monday in Niger during an attack in the Banibangou area (west), in the Tillabéri region, an area known as the “three borders” (between Niger, Burkina Faso and Mali). In a statement, the Nigerien Interior Ministry said the attack took place around 1 p.m. GMT on Monday. The attackers shot dead peasants working in their fields.
