On the night of August 13, fresh tension irrupted along the Assam-Mizoram border following a low-intensity blast at school in Hailakandi District in Assam, located along the inter-state boundary, reports Northeast NOW. According to sources, unidentified miscreants triggered a blast at the Sahebmara Punjee, lower primary school in the Gutguti area in Hailakandi District in Assam adjoining Kolasib District of Mizoram. As the blast took place at midnight, no one was hurt in the incident.
