At least 13 persons were killed and several others injured after a mini truck exploded at Mawach Goth in Karachi City in Sindh Province on August 14,reports Geo TV. Initial investigations by authorities have determined the cause of explosion was from grenade. The grenade exploded before it could be lobbed inside the vehicle and the assailants were riding on motorcycles, said Counter Terrorism Department Incharge Raja Umar Khattab. The deceased include seven women and six children, added Civil Hospital administration.
