On August 10, Security Forces (SFs) carried out a joint operation in Tinkupani Reserve Forest of Tinsukia District in Assam. On August 11, four militants of the Yung Aung faction of National Socialist Council of Nagaland- Khaplang (NSCN-K-YA) were arrested near the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border of Tinsukia District in Assam, leading to recovery of assault rifles and other weapons in follow-up operations reports East Mojo. The arrestees have been identified as Osa Gangsa, Pumla Pansa, Panglang Gangsa and Jangang Patadam. Three MQ 81 assault rifles, 294 live rounds, seven magazines, three mobile phones and other camp materials were recovered during the search operation.
