One Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant was killed in an encounter with Security Forces (SFs) in a building in Malpora locality of Mir Bazar of Kulgam District in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on August 13 (today), reports Greater Kashmir. The encounter started on August 12, after two LeT militants fired at a Border Security Force (BSF) convoy on the Srinagar-Jammu highway and were trapped in the building. Two civilians, one Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper and an Army soldier were injured during the encounter, said Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar.
