Three grenade attacks on national flag sellers took place in different parts of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, during the last 48 hours ending on August 10, killing one person and injuring five others, reports Dawn. Unidentified person hurled a grenade at a pushcart selling the national flags in the Sirki Road area which exploded at the roadside. However, no loss of human life was reported in the explosion which smashed windowpanes of shops and buildings.|However, five people were injured in a similar grenade attack at a small shop where the national flags were hoisted in the Eastern Bypass area in the night. The motorcyclists escaped after lobbing grenades. One of the injured, identified as Amanullah (27), later succumbed to his injuries at hospital.|Another person was injured in the third grenade attack in the Sariab Road area when motorcyclists targeted a pushcart selling the national flags.
