On 9 July 2026, near Ywar Taw village (Singu township, Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), the Myanmar military forces fired at least seven heavy weapons during the morning. The shells landed and detonated in the north east of the village. The shelling injured 5 civilians including a 62-year-old man, a 59-year-old man, a 31-year-old man, a 28-year-old man, and 52-year-old woman.
