On 7 July 2026, in Hpa Lu village (coded as Hpa Lu Lay) (Myawaddy township, Myawaddy district, Kayin state), the Myanmar military based at KK Park fired artillery rounds into the village in the evening. The shelling began after more than 300 reinforcements from Hpa-An town arrived at KK Park between 5 and 6 July 2026 (coded separately). Casualties unknown.
