On 7 July 2026, in Kan Ni village (Indaw township, Katha district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military conducted drone strikes and dropped bombs on farmers who were working at a farm around 11 am. A 70-year-old man and a 40-year-old man were killed. 2 fatalities.
