On 6 July 2026, an Israeli drone carried out a strike using two missiles targeting a car in Nabatiyeh El Faouqa town (Al Nabatieh, Al Nabatieh), killing four individuals. Among the victims were a school principal, an Ethiopian homemaid, and a Syrian worker. The SSNP commented on the incident as the school principal was a member of the political group. Another Israeli drone dropped two stun grenades in the town. The IDF confirmed carrying out a strike targeting 'suspects who approached the buffer zone.'
